Document preview is limited when working with other filetypes than standard
A .MSG document can have several attachements attached, these are not visible for the user.
A user will need to open (download) the document to view these attachments which takes a lot of time. or they are uploading an email and the seperate attachments as seperate documents which is also timeconsuming,
What would help is if the documentviewer would also show the attachments when viewing an MSG document.

Kevin Kalla AdminHello Bruno,
thank you for your suggestion! This functionality definitely makes sense. We will make an internal conception on how to handle the attachments of an uploaded .msg file and get back to you with a feedback.
Best regards

RedouanHi Kevin,

It's great to see that the suggestion has changed to planned!
Can you give me and our customers an indication of when this is planned?
I like to hear from you. -

Kevin Kalla AdminHello Redouan,
this feature will approximately be released in two separate steps.
Step 1 will be exactly what Bruno described. Attachments of an email will be shown below the original document. This will approximately be included in our spring release this year (April).
Step 2 will be a user friendly attachment selector, which will allow you to review the attachments of the email in the storing process. Then it will give the user the choice on how exactly he wishes to store the attachments, which can eg. be as separate content types. This feature will come later on in the summer or fall release.
If you want more info on whats planned for when, feel free to join this years Simova partner briefing (https://www.simova.de/events-1/simova-partner-briefing-1st-half-of-2024-english?lang=en)!
Best regards
