Send deleted documents from Document Central to the SharePoint Recycle Bin
Currently, when a document is deleted via Document Central (with SharePoint as the storage location), it is permanently removed from SharePoint right away. It does not go to the SharePoint Recycle Bin first. As a result, restoring documents after an accidental deletion is difficult or even impossible.
Request:
Please add an (optional) setting that ensures deleted documents are always moved to the SharePoint Recycle Bin, instead of being permanently deleted.
Benefits:
Improved safety: reduces the risk of permanent loss of important documents.
User-friendly: aligns with the standard SharePoint behavior that users expect.
Less dependency on backups or technical interventions.
